Scope
This notice covers fy-notes.com, including the public download center and restricted administrator features. FY Notes is personally operated. This notice is not a software vendor privacy policy and does not cover diagnostic software running separately after download.
Public browsing and downloads
Public files can be downloaded without registration, sign-in, or providing a name, email address, phone number, postal address or payment details. The site currently has no visitor enquiry or data-collection form and does not automatically read files on visitors’ computers.
To deliver pages and files, hosting and network services receive technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, request times and browser request headers, and may retain access or security logs. The download application does not maintain a separate visitor-identity-based download history. No personal-information form does not mean that network services process no personal data.
Sign-in, file management and voluntary contact
Restricted management features use Cloudflare Access sign-in. When signing in, the site receives the account identifier and email address provided by Cloudflare Access to check administrator access. Only authorized administrators can upload, organize or publish files. The site stores submitted files or text and metadata such as filename, size, checksums, timestamps, category and visibility. Private content is not served by public download endpoints. Files explicitly made public by an administrator can be downloaded by anyone.
If you email us, we receive your sender address, message and any attachments you provide to handle your enquiry or privacy request. Please do not send sensitive information unrelated to your request. If you used an earlier contact form, its records may remain in the restricted administration area; you can request access or deletion using the contact below.
Cookies and local storage
The current site application does not configure advertising trackers, marketing cookies or a separate visitor-behaviour analytics script. Language and category selections use page URL parameters. Hosting, security and identity services may use necessary cookies or similar technologies for security and sign-in, managed by those providers. Any browser permission to choose a download location remains under your control.
Purposes, service providers and storage
Information is used to provide downloads, authorize management access, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and respond to requests. Where applicable data-protection law applies, secure site operation and ordinary enquiry handling rely on the relevant legitimate interests; legally required records are handled under applicable legal obligations. The site has no function to sell visitor data or use it for targeted advertising, and does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
The site uses Cloudflare for hosting, execution, administrator sign-in and file storage; the contact mailbox uses Gmail. Providers may process information through global infrastructure, including outside a visitor’s country. The site application does not specify a fixed technical-log retention period or a single storage region, so we cannot promise EU-only storage or automatic deletion after a fixed number of days. See the provider privacy policies below for their practices.
Administrator uploads remain until an administrator deletes them; there is currently no automatic expiry. Emails and earlier enquiries are retained as needed to handle the request, follow up and meet legal requirements; contact the operator to request deletion. Technical-log retention is controlled by the hosting and security services.
Your choices and rights
You can download public files without signing in. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability; where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact the site operator below; reasonable identity checks may be needed. Requests for records independently controlled by another service may need to be directed to that provider.
